While working as Head of Technical Publications at British Aerospace's facility at Filton in the late 1980s ALAN J. PORTER discovered a discarded aircraft manual in a bin behind the Brabazon Hangar. This kicked off a thirty-year journey to tell the story of the subject of the manual, and the hangars' namesake - the Bristol Brabazon.
