Dr. Alby Elias is a psychiatrist and director of ECT Services at Mid-West Mental Health, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Victoria, Australia. He is a PhD scholar and an honorary senior fellow at the University of Melbourne. His work investigated the risk of Alzheimer’s disease in Vietnam veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder. His research projects were published in peer reviewed international journals and covered by ABC Radio National. Currently, he is presenting MediTalk, a fortnightly TV program covering various medical topics.
