Aspiring author Allyson Louise has worked as a waitress, nurse and medical secretary on her way to becoming a writer, reaching her final year of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing at Curtin University. Her Showsy Growsy series, self-published on Smashwords and created through her own Emerald Street Book design initiative, helped her gain high distinctions in poetry and experimental writing, accumulating a collection of fun and educational narratives. With years spent travelling and working abroad, her insights into world history and cross-cultural exchange flow effortlessly into her love of art, poetry and literature, providing fun themes for all to enjoy.
