Amy Stross is the award-winning author of The Suburban Micro-Farm, which she self-published, and the creator of TenthAcreFarm. com. Amy has been growing in marginal, shady spaces for 15 years on two home sites and writing about it for ten years. She also led a community food forest project at a forest edge and consulted for private clients who needed guidance working with shade. She has experimented with various techniques and crops to figure out how to optimize for food production in less sunlight without excess labor. She is trained in permaculture design.
