Andrew M. Dare is the creator of the American Treasure Hunters series. He's an adventurer and world traveler who has climbed in Nepal, surfed the Shipstern boomers of Australia, and sailed the Roaring Forties solo from Fremantle to Patagonia. Dare is a native of North Carolina, where he owns an Outer Banks kite shop and lives in a historic cabin in the dunes near Nags Head with his dog, Gulliver.
