Angie Tracey is a writer, author, communications and strategic planning consultant for businesses, including Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. She is a known expert on workplace health promotion and prevention education. She began her career as a broadcast journalist and News Anchor for an NBC affiliate and subsequently served in leadership roles for a U. S. Congressman, the Reagan White House and the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services. She retired from her most recent position as Sr. Advisor for Strategic Planning and Communications for the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC. She has won numerous national and international communications and marketing awards over the course of her 37-year career in government. Her work was recognized by two Presidents, the Governor of Georgia and the Mayor of Annapolis, MD. She also received a Resolution of Commendation from the Georgia House of Representatives, approved by unanimous vote for her work. In 2001, six days before the tragedy of 9-11, Angie founded the Christian Fellowship Group, CFG, one of the Government's first Christian employee associations.
