Ann Miles Sievers is a native Midwesterner and currently lives in Glenview, Illinois. Her father was born in 1901 on a farm in Iowa; her mother came from an iron ore mining town named Aurora, Minnesota. Their love and knowledge of animals always inspired kindness in her toward four-legged creatures of any type and birds, especially. She lives with her husband, two rescue cats and a rescue painted turtle. She has four wonderful grandchildren. Her second book is The Food Lady and Bucky.
