About the AuthorAnna Chekhovskyy is a wife, mother of four wonderful daughters, author and composer, choir director, and passionate music educator devoted to nurturing both children's and worship music ministries. From an early age, music and ministry have gone hand in hand in her life. Anna received her professional music training at the Gliere Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, where she completed her choral conducting and vocal studies, later earning her bachelor's degree and continuing her university education. Throughout the years, her deepest desire has been to use music to inspire people and help children discover the gifts God has placed within them. Children's musical creativity holds a special place in her heart. Through her work as a vocal teacher and leader of children's music programs, Anna has seen that children's musical ministry-whether through solo singing, small ensembles, or choir-goes far beyond simply performing on stage. It is a living, growing expression of worship that shapes hearts, strengthens families, and blesses the church. At the same time, her work is not limited to children's projects. Anna actively writes and produces music for a variety of ministry settings, seeking to create songs that carry light, hope, and the presence of God. Over time, through teaching and working closely with children, Anna frequently encountered the practical challenge of finding the right repertoire-songs that would genuinely resonate with young hearts while also fitting beautifully within a church setting. This ongoing search naturally led her to begin writing original songs, first for her own students and ensembles, providing them with music they could sing with confidence and joy. Seeing how warmly children responded to these songs-and how well they were received in church-gave her growing confidence to continue developing this repertoire. Anna's desire is that every child would not simply stand on a stage, but truly participate in worship and ministry, feeling valued and joyful in praising God.
