Anthony Hammond is a very experienced educator with nonformal activity related learning. Starting out as a quality control engineer, he became a teacher of mathematics at the age of 30. After working in secondary schools, community college, high schools, and a grammar school, he became an adviser and leader of alternative education for learners who do not cope with mainstream schools. He set up his own business, advising several local authorities on their alternative arrangements to educate learners out of a traditional school setting.
