dr aruna, real name Arunachalam Angappan, is a retired professor of English. He had taught English literature and Language in India (28 years) and Yemen (5 years) before his retirement in 2004. He has published three Volumes of poetry: Vibrant Moments 1 (2003), II (2005), and III (2006). Не delivered a Special Address at the World Poetry Festival held in 2005 at Kaoshiang, Taiwan. He is one of the recipients of Best Poet 2005 awarded at the International Conference. Literary Taiwan Foundation has published some of his poems bilingually in English and Chinese in the anthology, Golden Treasury of Contemporary Indian English Poetry. Kerala Sahitya Academy, Thiruchur, Kerala, India has published a volume of his poems in Malayalam translation.
