Dr. Bela Nand, MD, MBA, FACP, CHCQM is the vice president and chief medical officer for the AdventHealth Mid-America Region, where she provides executive leadership for clinical quality, patient safety, and physician engagement across a multihospital system. In this role, she partners closely with physicians and administrative leaders to advance high reliability care, strengthen medical staff governance, and deliver measurable improvements in outcomes and patient experience. Dr. Nand is board certified in internal medicine and hospice and palliative medicine. She strengthened her capabilities in health care strategy and organizational leadership by completing Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and an MBA. With a career spanning clinical practice and executive leadership, Dr. Nand is recognized for driving system-wide transformation through data-informed decision-making and collaborative physician leadership models. Her work emphasizes the integration of clinical expertise with administrative acumen, particularly through dyad leadership frameworks. A dedicated advocate for physician leadership development, Dr. Nand has been instrumental in designing and advancing programs that prepare physicians to lead effectively in evolving health care systems.
