Benjamin Toro has a BA in History from the University of Chile; an MA in Classical Studies from the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educacin (UMCE); Postgraduate Studies from the Rothberg Institute and Institute of Archaeology, Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and an MPhil in Cuneiform Studies and DPhil in Ancient Near East Studies, both from the University of Birmingham. He is Assistant Professor of Ancient Near East History and First Civilizations at the University of Concepcin.
