Bob Halliday, after serving as an air gunner with RAF Bomber Command, trained as a Chartered Surveyor, becoming an Associate of RICS in 1960. He was converted to Christ in 1958, and convinced of a calling to teach the word of God, he enrolled in London University. He then pastored for thirty-five years in Baptist and Presbyterian churches. After retirement, he enrolled in Edinburgh University, graduating in 2002. He lives in Crieff in Perthshire and remains an active member of Crieff Parish Church of Scotland.
