Candice James is Poet Laureate Emerita of New Westminster, BC CANADA. She is a visual artist, singer/songwriter, musician and writer. She is the author of 22 books of poetry and her poetry has been translated into Arabic, Bengali, Italian, Chinese, French and Farsi. Her songs have been recorded by singers and bands internationally and her paintings have been sold in the USA , Canada & Europe.
