Carolyn J. Sharp. teaches homiletics at Yale Divinity School. Among her books are commentaries on Micah (2025), Jeremiah 26-52 (2022), and Joshua (2019), and Irony and Meaning in the Hebrew Bible. (2009). Sharp has edited or co-edited nine volumes, including Irony in the Bible. (with Tobias Häner and Virginia Miller, 2023) and The Oxford Handbook of the Prophets. (2016). Sharp serves as founding editor of the T&T Clark Library of Homiletics, convener of the Hermeneutics and Biblical Studies workgroup of the Academy of Homiletics, and co-chair of the Homiletics and Biblical Studies section of the Society of Biblical Literature.
