Dr. Cemal YILMAZ is a scholar, author, and former university administrator whose work focuses on the transformative dynamics shaping society, technology, religion, and ethics. His approach moves beyond conventional disciplinary boundaries by developing integrated analytical perspectives on how social change is produced, negotiated, institutionalized, and sustained. Through interdisciplinary engagement and critical inquiry, he contributes to broader discussions on social transformation, religion and society, higher education, demographic change, and the societal implications of technological and structural developments. His work combines theoretical reflection with long-standing institutional and field-based experience, particularly in the areas of human-centered systems, social transformation, Islamic higher education, and the institutional development of Muslim communities in Europe. He is the author of the multi-volume Islamic University of Rotterdam Historical Series.
