Charles "Chaz" Lattimore Howard, PhD. serves as University Chaplain and Vice President for Social Equity and Community at the University of Pennsylvania. Over the course of his career, he has preached, lectured, and led retreats around the U. S. , as well as Europe and Africa. A champion for social justice, Chaz has served as a chaplain in hospices and hospitals and as a street outreach worker to individuals experiencing homelessness. He lives in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
