Cheryl Jorgensen-Earp. is Professor Emerita of Communication Studies at the University of Lynchburg. She has received several awards for research and teaching, including the 2021 Golden Anniversary Monograph Award from the National Communication Association, the Huston Award for Scholarship from the University of Lynchburg, and the 2001 Virginia Professor of the Year from CASE/Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
