D. I. Nwachukwu is a spirituality author whose writing is rooted in decades of diligent, firsthand seeking to experience the intelligence behind creation. His debut book, Be Still, reflects profound insight born not from academic theory alone but from a life committed to spiritual transformation and inner renewal. Nwachukwu's writing journey began long before he put pen to paper. After leaving his country of origin, Nigeria, for Maryland in 2001, he relocated to California in 2003, following what he understood to be divine instruction. He enrolled in a one-year discipleship program at the Orange County Rescue Mission, where he trained to be a servant, and went on to build a career in residential real estate property management, all while continuing his spiritual pursuit. These converging life experiences gave him a unique lens through which to explore themes of faith, stillness, and the transformative power of the words of Jesus of Nazareth. Nwachukwu currently resides in California with his wife and their three sons. When he is not writing, his life remains centered on the spiritual disciplines of stillness, open-mindedness, and the renewal of the mind, the very principles that animate his work. Follow D. I.
