Damon Lee never planned to write a novel. While caring for his baby daughter as a stay-at-home Dad, he woke from an extraordinary dream and recounted it to his wife. Her response was simple: "It's a book. Write it" When his daughter started nursery, he had the time, but having never written fiction before, Damon taught himself the craft, turning that dream into Witnessed, his debut novel. While the events of Witnessed are entirely fictional, many of the emotions are not. David's love for his family and his Community, the pain of estrangement from his son, Sam's journey to Judaism and the miracle of Leah all have roots in Damon's life. Damon lives in Hertfordshire with his wife, his daughter and their two dogs.
