Daniela Ozacky Stern. , PhD, is a historian specializing in Jewish resistance during the Holocaust and World War II. Her research focuses on Jewish life under Nazi rule, partisan movements, and the documentation and memory of the Holocaust. She has worked for more than two decades in archives in Israel and abroad and has presented her research at international academic conferences across the world. Ozacky Stern is the author of numerous scholarly publications that bring to light lesser-known stories of survival, moral choice, outstanding bravery, and unique forms of resilience. Her scholarship is based on thorough archival research, survivor testimonies, and historical and theoretical analysis to deepen understanding of Jewish experiences during the war.
