The following year he became the deputy editor at Record Collector. and remained a regular contributor to the magazine after leaving. He rejoined the team in 2022 as editor of the Rare Record Price Guide. He also consults for record companies, is a DJ, presenter and author; penning books on Peter Gabriel, Slade, The Supremes, Sparks, and Chic among others, as well as contributing to a variety of publications.
