David and Jeanie Stiles have written a total of 25 “how-to” books on building projects from treehouses and forts, to sheds, gazebos and garden houses, and have sold over one-million copies. They have received several awards, including the ALA’s Notable Children’s Book Award for “Treehouses You Can Actually Build. ” Their work has appeared in Architectural Digest. , House Beautiful. , Better Homes and Gardens. , Country Living. , and The New York Time. s. Television appearances include HGTV and the Discovery Channel. David and Jeanie divide their time between New York City and East Hamptom, N. Y. where they live in a barn they renovated themselves; here they build many of the projects featured in their books.
