Since retiring as a Modern Languages lecturer, David Jeffrey has published three books on Petersfield: Petersfield at War (2004), Postwar Petersfield (2006) and Petersfield a Hundred Years Ago (2012). One brief biography: Harry Roberts - a Petersfield philanthropist (2009); the history of Petersfield and Sheet Scouts and Guides (2007); and co-authored a concise history of the town: The Story of Petersfield (2009). He has also co-produced six DVDs for Angerton Video Productions, including a tribute to the poet Edward Thomas for the Edward Thomas Fellowship and an account of the Arts and Crafts Movement in Steep and Petersfield, sponsored by Bedales School. David is a local author who lives in Petersfield, Hampshire.
