Debra Trusela is an author, Christian speaker, mentor, and marriage ministry leader whose life is a powerful testimony to God's redeeming love and transforming grace. After overcoming abuse, addiction, and trauma, Debra now shares her journey of healing to inspire others to embrace forgiveness, restoration, and their true identity in Christ. For more than 25 years, Debra has spoken at marriage conferences, women's retreats, youth events, and churches alongside her husband, Matt, with whom she has shared over 40 years of marriage. Together, they have dedicated their lives to strengthening marriages and encouraging families through biblical principles and authentic testimony. Debra is the author of I Still Love You, a deeply personal story of beauty rising from ashes and light overcoming darkness. Beyond writing and speaking, she mentors women who are navigating the effects of trauma, marital struggles, and the journey of discovering their worth as daughters of God. A proud Italian, Debra treasures faith, family, lifelong friendships, cherished traditions, and gathering loved ones around a great meal. She and Matt are blessed with three sons, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. When she's not ministering or writing, she enjoys planning family celebrations and spending time at the beach, where she finds joy in God's creation and the people she loves most.
