Dietmar Hermann is a telecommunications engineer and has made in-depth studies of the Fw 187, Fw 190, Ta 152 and Ta 154. He is the author of seven books, published in German and English, as well as numerous articles for the German aviation press. Married with two sons, he is the son of one of the first soldiers to serve in the new Bundesluftwaffe following WWII.
