Eddy McClain has been active in associations representing the investigation industry since 1962. He is a founding member of CALI, the California Association of Licensed Investigators where he served as President and also Chaired the Legislative Committee.Nationally, McClain has served as President of NCISS, the National Association of Investigation and Security Services. When Chair of the NCISS Legislative Committee, he testified four times before the Congress in Washington, D.C., representing the profession. NCISS was instrumental in obtaining amendments to both the DPPA, the Drivers Privacy Protection Act, and the FCRA, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which are favorable to investigators and employers, nationwide.
