E. R. Wale lives with her family, black cat and rescue dog in the Hampshire countryside. The beautiful flora and fauna of the surrounding countryside are the inspiration for her writing. The welfare of animals and nature is something very close to her heart, and she likes to spend spare time raising awareness and funds for many associated charities. She is at her happiest sat in her writing shed with a cup of tea and her animals for company.
