Ernie Savage. was born in 1941 and has lived in Parbold, Lancashire for most of his life. After graduating from Liverpool University in 1962, he taught Geography for many years in various schools and colleges in North West England. He and his wife Madeleine have been married for over fifty years, have two sons and two grandsons. No Country for Old Men. is his third published book with Troubador Publishing.
