Garath Symonds founded Reconnect in 2018 after a career in public sector leadership, where he gained experienced in running large operations, responsible for revenue budgets over £100 million per year and staff teams of over 1000 people. Garath has advised multiple CEOs and other senior leaders, and supported numerous executive teams, coaching and consulting across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, both in the UK and internationally. Having logged over 1000 hours of coaching, Garath is a European Mentoring & Coaching Council accredited senior practitioner. In his book, The Anxious Leader, he explores the impact of anxiety on leaders and organisational life from the perspective of the Tavistock Tradition.
