Autor/-in: Gary Herron

Author Gary Herron, a staff writer and photographer at the Rio Rancho Observer since 2000, has been an "observer" himself of many local occurrences, and thus many of the recollections and photographs in this book are either his or the newspaper's. The earlier photographs were gathered through a wealth of research. Herron has covered sports and news in Rio Rancho, has spent countless hours at Santa Ana Star Center, is on a first-name basis with the city's "movers and shakers," and agrees that Rio Rancho is a "City of Vision," with much more to come its way to enrich the lives of its 90,000-plus residents.
