Gina McGarry. has been a professional Herbalist for over 30 years, having studied with Rosemary Gladstar, medicine people of the Cherokee, Modoc and Shoshone Nations, and other renowned herbalists along the way. She is a passionate researcher of Celtic ethno-botany and biochemistry, intent on weaving together the science and the spirit of herbalism. She has operated a Free Clinic in the US for 15 years, where she has served people with AIDS, Cancer and a vast array of other health issues, gaining broad experience in the healing power of herbs. She is the author of Brighid's Healing: Ireland's Celtic Medicine Traditions. and maintains her school and practice in Mullingar, Ireland.
