Glenn Alterman has written thirty-one theater related books, eleven of which contain original monologues. RecordSetter. com called him the “author of the most published original monologues for actors. ” His plays have been performed in over three hundred theaters, and he has won over two hundred playwriting competitions. He has won two international arts grants, the Arts & Letters Award in Drama, and the Reva Shiner Award. His monologues and plays appear in forty “Best of the Year” anthologies.
