Goldie Rowe was born and raised in Lewis County, Kentucky. Just after High School, she attended the culturally diverse Berea College in the small town of Berea, Kentucky. After 4 years at Berea, she enlisted in the Marines and graduated with honors at the top of her class (A1-PR school) in Pensacola, Florida. Following her military enlistment, Goldie returned to her hometown in Kentucky and enrolled at Shawnee State University, where she obtained her Bachelor's in Mathematics. She spent the next 20 years as a single Mother of 3, working in ISO 9001 development and Auditing.
