Hannes Hofmeister is Assistant Professor of European Law at the University of Bozen, Faculty of Economics. Before joining the Faculty he has been a lecturer and senior research fellow at the Universities of Innsbruck, Regensburg, Cambridge and a Max Weber Fellow Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, where he specialised in European and International Law as well as International Relations. Since then his research has focussed on issues of European Integration and current issues of international law, in particular aspects relating to the use of force in international relations and the problem of non-state actors in international public law.
