Hazel Gardner. is a children's author who lives in Preston with her human, cat and tortoise family. After a Master's degree and a string of serious jobs, she now enjoys nothing more than bringing her very unserious sense of humour to picture books and children's fiction. When she isn't writing, Hazel can often be found feeding her local murder of crows. Fred Blunt. has illustrated dozens of books. Humour has always been top of Fred's list when it comes to drawing and writing. Right from those early (rather unflattering) portraits of teachers, Fred knew he wanted to entertain with his work. Now writing and illustrating his own, very silly picture books and children's fiction - Fred couldn't be happier. Fred lives in Wiltshire, with his wife Clare, two children Bonnie and Sonny, and their retired Greyhound, Olive.
