Hobbo is a grumpy old soul, born and dragged up on a council estate in the foothills of Bradford, West Yorkshire. He has been a police officer in Yorkshire, a dog groomer in France and a bus driver for people with special needs in Lancashire. He began writing humorous poetry as a child and rekindled that childhood passion during the recent spate of pandemic lockdowns. The author has children in England and Australia, and currently lives in the U. K with his dog, Dauphy, and other members of his family. Hobbo speaks several languages fluently including French, Yorkshire and Lancastrian.
