Autor/-in: Imelda Lynn
Imelda Lynn grew up in County Clare and has spent two decades writing about violence, justice, and the long institutional memory of the British criminal courts. A lifelong student of forensic criminology and the sociology of serious crime, she brings to her work a deep conviction that true crime narrative must centre the living and the dead rather than the men who harmed them. The Suffolk Strangler. is the product of years of engagement with the Wright case and its forensic, legal, and human dimensions, and reflects her particular interest in the failures of institutional accountability that allow organised predators to operate across decades undetected. She lives in the west of Ireland and is the author of several works of narrative nonfiction in the true crime and historical investigation genres.
