My name is Isabella Gargiulo and I am 36 years old. I was born in Central Africa Republic (Bangui) and went with my parents and brother Andrea to Milan, Italy, where I grew up, when I was five. I came to the UK almost 10 years ago and met my husband after a few months in London. Having the same desire to build a family, Aiden arrived in 2020, and my twins Eva and Sofia came along in 2022. This book is an inspiration from the many moments I shared with my kids. My son Aiden was diagnosed with autism when he was two half, and I had many difficulties bonding with him. This made me deeply sad but gave me strength to keep searching for ways to connect, by observing him to be able to understand what he likes or not, to build a connection with him. My kids like our book time and sing nursery rhymes, so that's how everything started.
