Autor/-in: Jamila A Chowdhury

Originally from Bangladesh, Jamila A. Chowdhury holds a PhD in Dispute Resolution from the School of Law, University of Sydney, Australia. She was awarded with a Gold Medal for securing 1st Class, 1st position in her LLB (Hons); a UNESCO Fellowship in 2005; and Australia Day Awards in 2009 by the National Council of Women of New South Wales, Australia for her tenacity and creative abilities in academic and research works. Amongst Jamila's many awards, these ones mark the most stimulating and challenging events in her life. Her passion for working with vulnerable women has cemented her determination to pursue her writings on them. She has authored different national and international publications on ADR and women's rights.
