Jean-Pierre Lamérand is a self-taught designer and illustrator who also works in advertising. He is an illustrator with multiple styles, from humorous drawings to hyperrealistic animal representation and science fiction illustration. He is the author of educational books for learning to draw and is the author-illustrator of humorous and books for children. He lives in Montrouge, near Paris.
