Jermaine Brookins is an author whose passion for storytelling is rooted in real-life resilience, family values, and the power of perseverance. While working offshore and co-running a successful commercial cleaning business with his wife, Kychia Brookins, Jermaine found time between long shifts and late nights to write his debut novel, We Still Here-a heartfelt story inspired by his own life experiences & things he saw growing up through friends & family. As a father of two, Jermaine knows the importance of being present and setting an example for the next generation. He grew up with an Abusive Father , which motivated him to become the man and mentor he never had. His writing speaks to those who have struggled, those still fighting, and those who need to know they're not alone. When he's not working offshore or building a business with Kychia, Jermaine is spending time with his kids, chasing dreams.
