Jette K. Brumm is a sociologist, writer, and a passionate Bourdieu scholar. She combines theoretical and empirical research and develops new approaches for implementing sociological concepts in everyday practice to generate effective solutions and reliable insights. Her work addresses questions of (digital) power hierarchies, habitus reconstructions, the analysis of agent figurations and relations, the importance of social capital, and the interrelation between the political, journalistic, economic, and digital field.
