Autor/-in: Jo Twist

This book captures elements of Jo's own journey after moving so many times, trying to belong, making new friends and at the same time, missing her old ones too. She was inspired to take Elf Twisty to Scotland after moving there just before her first book was published. The original drawings from her first book 'Elf Twisty goes to the Safari' were sketched in a warm cosy cafe in Aberdeenshire even before she knew she would be moving there. 6 months later, thanks to her amazingly kind friends, she packed her car and put her trust in fate and never looked back. This is where the story truly begins for both of them. Nature has always been an inspiration for Jo's stories but this book is also inspired by friendship, kindness, imagination and hope. Each character is loosely based on someone who has touched her life and she has so much love and gratitude for each and everyone of her Elflings and other new characters. I wonder where Jo will take Elf Twisty and her magical friends next. Can you guess. Until then.. bonne nuit.
