Jocelyn Benford. started painting in 2020 as a hobby, and in 2022 she retired from her long-time career as an educator to devote herself to making art. She recently relocated to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she joined Galería Blue Moon as a member artist. Jocelyn is currently represented by Idea Gallery in Door County, WI, and by Bee Street Gallery in Dallas & Fort Worth, TX. In 2024 Jocelyn began teaching workshops in her unique style of abstract watercolor and mixed media painting, and she has led workshops in New York, Wisconsin, South Africa, and Mexico.
