Joe lives with his wife and their dog in the southeast of England, near their daughter and two grandchildren. With strong family connections to the northeast of England, they spend the rest of their time near the beautiful beaches around the mouth of the River Wear. His first two books, Thank You, Ellie, and Thank You, Grace, were written as stories for his granddaughter and to commemorate a much-loved family pet.
