Autor/-in: John C Franklin

John C. Franklin was born in Leeds to Irish parents who settled there in the 1960s, and he has called the city home ever since. He wrote Shapeshifting in the early 1980s while living with his parents, encouraged by his mother to complete the manuscript after he began full-time work in 1978. Although the novel was finished, it remained unpublished for more than four decades before finally being rediscovered and prepared for publication in 2026. Following the end of his first career in 1993, John returned to higher education in Leeds to study Information Systems. After graduating, he embarked on a new career in data analysis. In addition to Shapeshifting, John has written poetry and numerous film reviews. This is his first-and, to date, only-novel. /]
