John Olszewski was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts, where he developed an early fascination with true crime. He holds degrees in criminal justice, behavioral science, and counseling psychology and has worked in academic institutions, hospitals, prisons, and treatment centers. Olszewski has also appeared on the lecture circuit discussing criminal behavior. Still Walking In The Dark continues his research into serial killers and violent offenders. He is also the author of The Long Dark Walk and Serial Shorts, and co-host of The Long Dark Walk podcast.
