Jon Fallis lives with his family near Ripon and has enjoyed many years of walking in and around the Nidd valley and the Nidderdale AONB. He was helped by his wife Karen, son Daniel and two dogs in researching the walks for Short Walks in Nidderdale. He has many years' experience of hill-walking and outdoor pursuits in exotic locations, but always comes back to this unique area to enjoy the character of the landscape.
