Judith Roberts spent twenty years working in tribal, state, and federal legal systems before writing fiction. She began her career with a Legal Aid organization serving Indigenous communities across multiple reservations, and the worlds she worked in shape every page of Essayons, her debut novel. When she is not writing, Judith is likely on the road - a spiritual seeker traveling and often living out of a van, following the questions that matter to her, one mile at a time. She drinks her coffee strong, writes early in the morning before the day has made its demands, and believes the best stories, like the best journeys, are the ones that refuse to look away.
